BDA worked with the Village of Alma and the Vision Alma Committee to prepare a sustainable tourism community plan. The plan includes a variety of visitor experiences along the newly defined waterfront boardwalk. This includes interpretation of the historical ship building and lumbering industry, a fishery exhibit and a tidal experience. The plan also includes guidelines for building facades, plans for several urban parks, a community green and redevelopment of the Alma Activity Centre. BDA built a detailed 3D model of the entire village as a study tool and to communicate the various planning ideas.
