This plan established a sustainable tourism project on this fragile coastal site. The development included trails, an interpretive/research facility and a lodge. The interpretive program is based on the extensive waterfowl and bird habitat and the unique cultural history of the area which includes Acadian settlement and salt marsh hay production, a hotel and site of the ice boat crossing to Prince Edward Island. BDA provided site design consulting.
