Greenwich Dunes Resorts is situated on a 462 acre parcel of land and includes a 150 room hotel, 910 time share units, and an 18 hole golf course and 8.5km of recreation and nature interpretation trails. The project is adjacent to the sensitive coastal environment of the ‘PEI National Park’.
The project has been designed following the principles of sustainable development. This includes a comprehensive environmental analysis of drainage, vegetation and wildlife habitat to determine development sites and environmental corridors. The project includes a number of environmental systems such as a peatland sewage treatment system which utilizes a constructed wetland.
