This is the first green roof installation in New Brunswick and was developed as a demonstration project by the City of Moncton.

Green roofs are a design element of the sustainable development movement. Green roofs provide numerous benefits including:

conserve energy by moderating temperature on the roof and surrounding areas reduce storm water run off create habitat add urban open space and aesthetic value protect roofing systems
